It has more than 200 stores and restaurants and is frequented by locals and visitors. The Dimond Center opened in 1977. However, it was not what it looked like today. The expansions took place in 1981. By the year 1996, a movie theatre was added and later, the Dimond Center Hotel was built on the southwest corner of the mall. The Dimond Center mall was fully completed in 2002. The Dimond Center also has a skating rink, an arcade, a food court, a post office, a health club, and a bowling alley.
