Aliens on Earth: 5 crazy theories about aliens
What do you mean "the aliens are coming"? They've been here a long time. In the form of reptilian creatures or somewhere in our bodies. Five wacky but creative alien theories.
1. The aliens are in our bodies
According to the atomic theory, the aliens are inside us. All atoms, including those in our bodies, consist of tiny spaceships. And these are controlled by even smaller microbeings. So the human body is actually a cloud of microbeings.
At least, if we are to believe the Amsterdammer Harrie Weggelaar. He is a former teacher, ex-librarian and son of God (his Twitter name is "Harriechristus"). Philosophy always had his interest and he was a follower of the Scientology movement. Proving that the theory is correct, he says, "is unfortunately not possible. The smallest particles of an atom, quarks, have never been observed separately. It is therefore impossible to determine whether they consist of minuscule spaceships. But it is a funny theory.
2. The powerful reptilian people
Earth is ruled by reptilian humans, from the Alpha Draconis galaxy. We don't realize this because they disguise themselves as dignitaries. The U.S. former president George W. Bush is one, so are the members of the British royal family and Princess Beatrix. This is how they exercise power.
This story has been thrown into the world by Briton David Icke. He is a conspiracy theorist and also a son of God. He made the latter claim in 1991, during a Terry Wogan show. The audience laughed squarely at him, but he didn't care. Scientists make little effort to refute Icke's theory about reptilian humans. Icke does get criticized for another bizarre idea, namely that the Holocaust never happened. And some think that by "reptiles" he actually means "Jews.
3. The sticky aliens of Scientology
The Thetans theory is perhaps even more extraordinary. If this theory is correct, 75 million years ago the evil space leader Xenu ruled 76 planets. He killed many of the inhabitants. Their minds he infected with sexual perversion and religion. These alien spirits ended up on Earth, where they bonded with humans. This is the secret that followers of the Church of Scientology are told when they reach the highest spiritual level: Operating Thetan III.
This story was conceived by L. Ron Hubbard, science fiction writer and leader of the Church of Scientology. The Los Angeles Times newspaper chronicled the theory in 1990, based on recordings of Hubbard from the 1950s. Followers deny that they believe in the theory and there is nothing about it on the Scientology website either. But then again, it had to be kept secret. And from a fantasy writer you expect nothing less than a rich imagination.
4. Jesus is an alien
Everything you thought about humans up to this point is incorrect. In fact, we were created in the lab of space aliens called Elohim. Those space beings sent us three figures that we have interpreted as messengers from God: Moses, Jesus and Mohammed. But so those are actually aliens, you see? Eventually the Elohim will return with the prophets
This somewhat bizarre message comes from Rael, who was born Claude Vorilhon in France in 1946. He is said to have met a space being in the 1970s who instructed him to establish an embassy on Earth to welcome the Elohim. Rael is said to have visited the Elohim planet and cloned there. Scientists are not that bothered by this theory. Except on December 26, 2002, when Raelian bishop and director of biotech company Clonaid, Brigitte Boisselier, announced that her firm had cloned a human being. The baby was to be named Eve, but no evidence was ever found that the child existed. The news was dismissed as a hoax
5. Landing strips for aliens in Peru
According to the Paleocontact hypothesis or Paleo-SETI (SETI stands for Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence: search for extraterrestrial life), space aliens visited us long ago. There is all kinds of evidence of this, such as the Nazca Lines, the huge drawings engraved in the dry soil of Peru. The lines were made by the Nazca civilization some 2,000 years ago. Because they can only be seen from a great height, they served as a landing strip for aliens.
The Swiss amateur archaeologist and hotelier Erich von Däniken is convinced of this. Among other things, he wrote the book Were the gods cosmonauts? He even opened the Jungfraupark in 2003, where you can learn in recreated Indian villages how aliens influenced ancient cultures. According to archaeologists, Däniken is dead wrong. The Nazca space lines can be seen just fine from a number of high points, so you really don't need a spaceship for that. The real function of the lines is still unclear, but scientists suspect they are religious drawings
